ITS Meccatronica Training Programme
26 scholarships worth € 3.000 over two years to train automation specialists through theoretical classes, hands-on practice and advanced laboratory work.

Next Gen Stories
I carried out two extracurricular internships, one in my first year and one in my second, both at the same company because I wanted continuity in the project I had started. Thanks to the ‘Percorsi di Eccellenza’ programme, I received a scholarship and was able to apply what I had studied in class – something I owe to the Foundation and its commitment to the local area. Today Cremona is a laboratory of valuable opportunities: from the Politecnico to the new Università Cattolica campus, to the many tech companies in the province. It’s also our responsibility as students to help make these opportunities known.”
Joining Percorsi di Eccellenza allowed me to attend many events at the Politecnico for free, covering topics from machine learning to big data, business and job-search skills. But the real turning point came with the internships: I was able to work as a full-stack developer even without having 100% of the required skills. I was supported, trained and encouraged every day, and I finally saw the practical side of this profession. It was intense, but essential to understand where I truly want to go.”
